Avatar and Signature settings

Is there a setting in your preferences (here at SillyDog) where you can not allow avatars and signatures to load? I know other forums that allow avatars and signatures, usually also allow the user whether or not they want these to load. I have not found an option for this at SillyDog. Does anybody know if is possible to turn of avatars?

However, avatars and signatures are controlled under strict restriction in SillyDog701. We don't want to make the forum boring, but not annoying.

OK thanks. I do not have any problems with the avatars and signatures, just more of a preference for me not to display them. Thanks again.
