No, what I post is of my own mind. I find your question very indicative of the attitudes in these forums. Antony creates an atmosphere of mistrust, and now people have to bother saying things like "I am not taking sides one way or the other." You shouldn't have to say that, and I'm sure you would appreciate it if people took your words at face value, instead of questioning your motives. There is no "UFAQ gang", and if someone agrees with Antony's opinions, I trust that it isn't simply a case of him/her being "loyal." Everyone in here should be given at least that amount of respect.

Antony wrote:"Too"? So you are saying Mr Jay Garcia was immature at first place.
Thank you.
"Too" as in "in addition to my previous paragraph." <sigh>

By the way, have looked at your own privacy policy lately?
"Under no circumstances does SillyDog701 divulge any information about an individual user to a third party."

Peace be with you.

What is that sentence got to do with me? I believe you should realise that phrase was from a guy with said to be a 77 year old male neutral observer then a 51 year old female close friend of Jay Garcia, then access from Jay's very same IP address. [sdp=56797]reference[/sdp].

And if "UFAQ gang" is immature, then what is your comment on following?

I have.
However, due to [sdp=57079]a deliberately lie[/sdp] from DrDean, it would be useful to put those evidences with all private information being censored out. And of course, you can enjoy new version of the story.

Well, SD701 Admin passed following message to me, and asked me to post it.

Another interesting observation shows that DrDean, DoctorDean and
JayGarcia all have the same password. (Perhaps initial passwords.)
Don't blame me of reading bounced emails, where passwords are not
encrypted.

Like I said before, if you know anything about VPN access then
EVERYBODY uses a common password to gain access and send mail, even
myself. I access the internet via VPN from my home and the VPN server
is at my office. Get with the program Antony.

Ok to post this in the group for all to see.

Jay
So everybody who use Virtual Private Network must use SAME password? How ridiculous is that?
I use VPN often, and I have two VPN running. I don't need to use same passwords. There's no need for everybody to use a common password to gain access or to send emails.
And the password for other websites?

Jay, we need a better story.

Antony, pick the hill you're going to die on. Please tell me this isn't it.

Either quote me correctly, or don't quote me at all. I said the UFAQ gang poster rank was immature.

You posted the personal info, before DrDean said it was a lie.

It was a special title I awarded to DrDean. Not a poster rank.

Then, what is your comment on Jay's usage of "Antony and his gang on SillyDog forum"?

This is typical Chris Ilias, believing everything Jay says. Anyone else convinced with Jay's single password story?

I don't need a better story, you need to understand VPN a bit better. I
have a circle of VERY trusted family and friends that use my VPN. It
was MY choice to use a common password scheme, simple as that. How I
operate my VPN is MY choice and I choose to use a common access entry.

And like I mentioned in another feedback, DrDean is flying to Sydney in
another month or two and would like to meet you. Ok ?

And BTW, I am the only one involved in the UFAQ, so there is no "UFAQ
Gang". But if it makes you happy to use the term then
I have no problem with it. Sort of amusing anyway.

It looks like Jay is retrieving "SillyDog Gang", I will contact Antony to retrieve "UFAQ Gang" shortly, and leave Antony to comment on Jay's VPN and password story.

Also, SillyDog701 Administrators had different views on DrDean/DoctorDean/JayGarcia account case.
I told Antony it was Jay's server setting, not accepting emails sending from "sillydog.org server", but would accept if send manually. It is easy to see that "DoctorDean" account was created due to an error, and can be deleted.

Jay is welcome in SillyDog701, and I will manually reinstate his account. The decision regarding DrDean's account, there's no much point, as all he/she talks is Jay's words. Also re a feedback sent by Jay, DrDean's account is not important.

SillyDog701 Administrator.
Well, it seems like Mr Jay Garcia did not read this post, so I quote it again.

Welcome on board, Mr Garcia. You account is activated.

Since Mr Jay Garcia still not aware that his account is activated, I'd better answer his question here.
Jay Garcia (via Feedback) wrote:Single password story? C'mon Antony, you said you know how VPN works.
If you run a VPN server, you need a password for access. Each user can
have a unique password OR you can configure the VPN for only ONE
password and give THAT password out to your trusted users. That is what
I did, one password for all.
In [sdp=57244]this post[/sdp], I was referring to DrDean, DoctorDean and JayGarcia accounts registered to SillyDog701 Message Centre, all registered from same IP address as well as same password. The "password" refers to the password for SillyDog701 Message Centre, and has nothing to do with Mr Jay Garcia's VPN.

Good evening folks, not going to stay long. Just wanted to answer this:

The "password" refers to the password for SillyDog701 Message Centre, and has nothing to do with Mr Jay Garcia's VPN.

That is correct and that's the password that DrDean uses to access the VPN and the only one she knows because I use the same one. I guess she thought she had to use the same PW for access here because she was going through the VPN.

Bye, good luck, no need to carry all this any further. Antony has my latest feedback with the offer to even swap "SillyDog701.org" for "UFAQ.NET". And then we can call all this nonsense quits.

Oh, and by the way, Antony failed to mention that DrDean is flying to Sydney at the end of June (I think) and wants to meet him. What you say Antony, where is a good spot to meet. Airport maybe? Nonetheless, if you're in the phone book she'll give you a call.

And now that I'm here you can now say "Welcome Aboard" and "Sayonara" all at the same time.

Shoot, forgot one more very important post ....

I sent Antony a "feedback" hoping he would post it here but he chose not to do so for whatever reason, so here is the exact text of the "feedback":

This one's for the GROUP !! :-)

Since not everybody understands the term "Gang", I APOLOGIZE for using "Gang" when I mentioned "SillyDog Gang".

Merriam-Webster:

Gang

Yes folks, an APOLOGY from none other than Jay Garcia, how 'bout that.

Take care one and all ...

Okay, more detail for all

Jay Garcia has deleted my posts again.

Image

After my messages being deleted in Netscape secnews, I know I have to make backups.

I posted following text in reply to rodstrange's post (perhaps that thread won't last long either)
Antony wrote:
rodstrange wrote:yep deleted and same result.
Something is crazy because netscape starts up super slow.
There are two temp folders in Windows.
One is \winnt\temp

then other one is \Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Temp
(you might need to show hidden files to see this URL)

My suggestion would be: try creating a new Netscape profile and see if you can send attachment.

Was my post offensive? off topic? I don't think so.

So Jay banned my account in UFAQ, and deleted my posts in UFAQ.

For whatever reason you still refuse to private email me.

Yes, I did delete your user account when all this unpleasant business was going on. But since then I have re-instated your IP address, etc. so that you have full access.

At the time I just didn't realize that deleting your account also deleted all posts as well. My mistake ..... Sorry, I apologize.

You are welcome to re-register and post with support issues.

Doesn't look like "Guest" posts are allowed because only registered users can post/reply. Therefore "Guest" isn't a "registered" user. I made a mistake, admitted it and apologized. Not much more I can do. Tried standing on my head but I passed out !!! :-)

even if guest posts/replies aren't allowed, they should still stay there as "Guest Posts". (on phpBB, posts usually are only deleted if an admin/mod chooses to do so)

The UFAQ is PHPNuke 6.5 and I also run a protector module. There are no posts from "Guest" and I didn't delete 'em. The only thing I did was delete Antony as a user. What I may do for info sake is to create a user, make a post, then delete the user to see what happens.
