Since iTunes comes with QuickTime, I'd bet you'd need to install QT6/iTunes before installing QT7, so that QuickTime would be upgraded but iTunes would not.

So, to those that didn't install iTunes prior to installing QT7, maybe some research as to this topic should be done.

It seems that QT7 has taken over. QT6.3 was not uninstalled, and at this point, I won't bother with it, but the shortcut was gone.
As for iTunes, except for the fact that every link in Quicktime has to open the default browser to ask me if I have iTunes or not, it works beautifully, so far.
It is a bit hard to know what is going on, except that the Add/Remove shows two Quicktimes, one described as Quicktime(but id. a 7.02 says that it is rarely used, while the other one is called Quicktime for Windows, 32-bit, say it is used frequently. I think that 7.02 is nothing but interface, with nice links, to iTunes. iTunes is working fine. The only difference is that I can view video in iTunes, and they look gorgeous.
I will, most likely, have to uninstall one or all programs. It is part of the busines. Is it not?
