XP Colors

Postby MCIAD » Sun 01 May, 2005 8:33 pm

Is there a way to modify the colors of XP themes? I have the standard Blue, Olive, and Silver, but am looking for a deep red.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Unfortunately, as they are drawn using graphics, you cannot modify the colors of Windows XP system themes. Your options are probably limited to using "Classic" mode and selecting system colors, or perhaps finding a third-party theme that is red.

No, you can't edit the blue, olive green and silver XP themes as such. However, there is a patch that will allow you to use many third party visual styles for Windows XP.

Try getting a program called StyleXP, it has many different themes and colours available and you can also download many more. :)
