Backing up data with MozBackup and moving from PC to Mac

Postby Andrew T. » Fri 10 Jun, 2005 11:52 am

Someone recently contacted me by e-mail with the following technical-support question:
I hope you can advise me or direct me on the following.

I have recently changed from Windows to Mac (our household, 3 machines)
I backed up my PC suite using moz backup and thought I could simply
restore this on a Mac. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case.
Any advice?
Trying to save forwarding 500 or so emails and addresses.

I'm not familiar with MozBackup. Could someone please help me on this individual's behalf?

That sounds like a question for the author of the program, JasnaPaka. He has a Forum where the user most likely should ask this question. I have no idea, as I have never used program nor am I familiar with a Mac. I use my own batch file for backup.

OK, thanks.

I'm hesitant to direct the user to JasnaPaka's forums, as it appears to be a forum for only development and bug discussion, not user support.

Too true, Andrew, and in fact I see that the author has even locked a thread, with a statement that it isn't a support Forum! Bad idea... Sorry!
