Send Page vs. Send Link

Postby John N » Sat 11 Jun, 2005 1:35 pm

Question is what is the difference between SEND PAGE and SEND LINK? I thought with SEND LINK that the web page was lost from my SENT mail folder if the info was taken off the server, but retained in my SENT Folder if SEND PAGE was used.

Noticed that FIREFOX has only SEND LINK, whereas 7.2 has SEND PAGE.

FIREFOX under TOOLS/READ MAIL opens 7.2 MAIL and TOOLS/NEW MESSAGE opens OUTLOOK???

Have you tried the features? I select Send Page in Netscape7.2, and my default mail opens with a link, no different than firefox.
As for the last question, I have Thunderbird as default mail, and it opens Thunderbird mail either with Read Mail or New Message. Firefox is my default browser. and, I would not get very far opening New Message in Outlook. I don't have the critter. I have heard the same question asked by others, though.
