How do I?

Postby jjssparkle » Tue 01 Feb, 2011 5:20 pm

Somehow all of my .pdf files got set to open w/"Picture Viewer" instead of Adobe Reader. How do I correct this?

If you hold down the Shift key and then right-click on a PDF file, you should be able to select "Open with", which will let you tell Windows to open PDFs with Adobe Reader. Make sure to check the "Always use the selected program to use this type of file", otherwise it will only open in Adobe Reader that once.

Foxit is my default, but after having removed Adobe Reader, it was reinstalled when I got a certain program. Since then my right click menu has Open, on top, and clicking on it will open the .pdf file with Foxit. Should I want to open with Adobe Reader, there is an Open with Adobe Reader line.
