Sorry to shift to my favourite topic, iTunes Music Store downloads.
We only have, [sdt=6338]100 million songs sold[/sdt], [sdt=7836]200 million songs sold[/sdt], [sdt=8160]250 million songs sold[/sdt], [sdt=8455]300 million songs sold[/sdt], and recently, [sdt=9322]500 million songs sold[/sdt], and there were two big promotions from Apple for those milestones.

Please note the difference: music from iTunes Music Store seems to be far more popular than Firefox downloads.
music from iTunes Music Store costs (around) 99 US cents a song.
music from iTunes Music Store is only available in selected countries.
music from iTunes Music Store is only available for Windows and Mac OS X.

Firefox is free, available in far more countries, and more platforms. Had Firefox charged 99cents per downloads, I'd doubt it's download numbers.

I also have four browsers on my PC, whereas I have several hundred songs. A more fair comparion is how many times has Apple's Safari browser been downloaded?
