Mac OS X and clp 120

Postby doveinTurkey » Sat 06 Aug, 2005 6:23 am

We just got a Mac OS X with garageband. We have had a clavinova clp 120 for a while.. we got the mac SO THAT my daughter can play her music and have it written out in note form on the computer. We have midi cables and a driver for those.. The mac seems to know that the cables are there, but doesn't recognize the piano as an input. I read somewhere else that this LOW a clavinova needs a USB driver. But i can't find the right driver. Do you know which one i should use? On the Yamaha page, i only found a driver for clp 240, not 120.. the 120 only had a driver for windows. My daughter's friend was able to make the clp 120 work on the garageband on his Mac. .. but he can't figure out what is missing on our mac.
Thank you,
Alexandra
