How to setup Netscape 8 webmail to access Thunderbird

Postby Geoland » Tue 18 Oct, 2005 9:33 pm

This might seem like a stupid question but I've been looking to find a way for quite some time. I just download Netscape 8.0.3.3 and Thunderbird 1.0.7. I must say the migration was excellent for both the Bookmarks and the Address Book and Mail. I can't seem to figure out how to set up Netscape to open Thunderbird for the webmail. Appreciate any help!! 8-)

You really can't, if you mean Netscape Webmail, i.e. @netscape.net.
There are way to do it, but not the old webmail way.

It's all new to me coming from NS 7.01. I thought that perhaps somewhere in Netscape you could set the default mail to go to Thunderbird. You'd think they would have set something like that up. :(

You, certainly, can open your default mail, but you mentioned Webmail, not a regular e-mail account.
