Good afternoon --

I had to replace my hard drive so I had to start from scratch. I reinstalled Netscape 7.2. I copied the entire Mozilla profile on CD under the Application Files. Attempts to access the former profile (and all of the e-mail there) have been unsuccessful, all it allowed me to do was to create a new e-mail profile. Any way to restore all of my e-mail from the Mozilla back-up I created? Thanks!

Add comment -- when I call up NS 7.2 it asks me for a profile -- it shows the names of two (2) previous profiles but when I designate it, NS states that it can't access the profile, or something like that.

Having a new hard drive is pretty much like setting up in another. The old profiles would not be accessible, as the files are no longer on that drive, but if you saved the entire profile, you should be able to get it into the new drive. Or, you may decide to combine everything in the newly created profile. In such case, you will want to right click|rename the Inbox and the Sent file to anything you wish, and then right click|Paste the renamed files into the new account folder (Netscape must be closed).
