Just wanted to tell everyone whats up.....i'm a 21 year old chick from Louisiana about to move to Los Angeles and i'm new on this forum and hoping to meet some cool people

The best way to get involved here is to just post in the threads/forums that interest you. I would ask you to change your signature though, a certain word in it is not really appropriate.

You'll find we are generally quite a friendly bunch here at SD701, and we like to help each
other with questions problems and issues mainly regarding web browsers and operating
systems, but as you've already seen, we do have this non-tech related General Area.
Meanwhile, I would like to second what Mandrake said about your sig. While most
of us here are generally mature and/or broadminded, these forums are open for
anyone to view without registering a membership, including children, so with
that in mind, could you please alter your sig to something more appropriate.
