Hey all. I was wondering what all of you Silly Dog701 members use for web mail? I use Hotmail, and my parents use out look express.

I just use Hotmail. it serves the purpose. i have never needed anything more then that. I hear alot about gmail. is there anything spectacular about it compared to others? or is it just a prefference.

While not directly related to the topic of web-based e-mail, anyone foolish enough to choose to use Outlook Express as an e-mail client ought to review posts like this and this before continuing to do so.

I used to have a Hotmail account way back, before Microsoft acquired it (I beleive I subscribed in December 1997). I continued using that until 2000, when I started using NS Webmail because of its integration with Netscape 6 PR1. And in late 2001, my DSL provider went under, so I switched my service over to an ISP that gave me more than one e-mail address (somebody else was using the old one). Reminds me of DSL in 1998, now THAT was interesting.

Yes, I use my Webmail account and it's great that it has 250mb for email.

I have had a few Hotmail accounts for over eight years now.
They have recently given me 250 mb for email and
10 mb for attachments. It's free too.

Now I have oodles of places for storage. Comes in handy when you
get a new computer........lol
I remember when I went from my Nec Win 95 puter to Win 98 compaq.
I had stuff and still do stored all over the Net. lol

For your Poll, I use Hotmail, Yahoo and Netscape Webmail.
I also use my ISP MAIL.
I was unable to tick off the 4 places, just in case you're interested ;)
