Although I have Windows 7, but I don't have enough resources (RAM, CPU etc) to run IE 9 (or IE 10) efficiently.
And I don't have enough resources part justifies Antony is poor.

The system requirements for Internet Explorer 8 and Internet Explorer 9 are identical for Windows NT 6.x (Windows Vista and Windows 7). They both require 512 MB RAM. If you can run IE 8, you CAN run IE9. And please don't give us the "Antony is too poor to afford this." You have a 12-core Mac Pro with 48 GB RAM.

That is twelve times the amount of RAM in my Laptop, and 24 times the amount of RAM in my Desktop. And a crap ton times more than the 768MB in my secondary desktop.

It won't be that much in 2016, probably not even minimum for the basic requirement in 2016.

All $10,000 worth of computer? My old i7 is still going strong, and 12GB of ram is still ample for my needs, so there's no upgrade coming from me on that front.

Back to the embedded font (webfont) in SillyDog701 Message Centre.

The forum (and the embedded font) look fine under Internet Explorer 9 (under Windows 7 Professional), and also look fine under Internet Explorer 8 under Windows XP SP3, however, not a bit too thin (hard to read) under Internet Explorer 8 under Windows 7. I guess I am not going to pay much attention to IE8 Win7 users for now.

If you can run IE 8, you CAN run IE9. And please don't give us the "Antony is too poor to afford this." You have a 12-core Mac Pro with 48 GB RAM.

Thank you, and I installed IE 9. Also, the Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac can only spare up to 8 CPUs (cores) and up to 8 GB of RAM to a virtual machine, therefore, it's nowhere near 12-core nor 48 GB RAM.

(You guys really paid way too much energy to a poor man's computer.)
