There are already Opera archives (search for most of the filenames I mention), but nothing that I know of is complete.
BTW, op209e.exe is the filename for the earliest known English OR Winsock-compatible Opera version (op212e32.exe is the first Win32 version). operain.zip (I've also seen it as op200no.zip) is the earliest known Opera version, but it's not English (Norwegian) and it's not Winsock-compatible (it's a trial version included with GIGA Magazine).
Opera 2.09 is a lot more capable than something like Netscape 1.x, which barfs if a page sends its encoding.
Keep in mind, these old Opera versions are SHAREWARE. It's a TIME LIMITED TRIAL, until Opera 5.x. Also, Wine barfs all over Opera's registration implementation, and the registration file can't be opened by Opera 2.09.
It works fairly well on Windows XP, FWIW.
