I was wondering if Sony, Gateway, or dell outsources. I want to get a new laptop (since my warranty has ran out on my vaio). I never called sony for problems so I don't know if the do. I have a Compaq computer and an HP printer so I call them and they outsource.

I know that Gateway outsources, because I called them three times in a row about my Solo 2500 battery, and three times in a row I got three different people with what seemed like south Asian accent. Sony does trade around here, but they're a Japanese corporation, so it's easily plausible that they're working out of China like many large Japanese companies do.

yeah, it's pretty twisted, they make them take "accent neutralization classes" so they don't sound so foreign.

The messed up thing is they still can't understand the language completely
