What have I turned OFF??

Postby lonestarone » Wed 25 Dec, 2002 1:13 pm

Greetings-All,
Been playing around with my NS7, really like it!! Much faster than previous versions - and ~~ NO POPUPS! Great!
I've messed around with my preferences so much, I can't seem to retrace
my steps. For some reason - I can't activate my hotmail via NS??? I can, naturally via IE . But - I hate using IE , so slow. My response cookies aren't turned on, but they are?
I did have the preferences set to custom, but I've changed back to internet, still IE won't work I wonder if I've messed up the services.msc somehow??? Don't see how since they are in safe mode, according to blackviper.com.
Hope all had a safe - content - peaceful Xmas.
On to a better New Year.
Thanks - All.
John in Dallas.

John,
if you hope to set up Hotmail in Netscape mail, you can forget about it. You can blame the great friendship of AOL and Microsoft, among other things. If you are having problems by going to hotmail.com, I would not know. I did give up on Hotmail long ago, and not because it is Microsoft's, but because I was overwhelmed with Spam. So, I signed up with a different username, and I had no problem. My cookies are custom set up.
And, you too, enjoy the Holidays.
