What is the difference between base and normal?

It can't be very large, as there isn't much of a difference between the two.

I had to do it the hard way, but no big deal with Cable. I downloaded the base, cb32d and the complete, I think that you mean that, cc32d of 4.08. And , I went through the motions of installing. The Complete version had, in addition to the same components as the Base version, Conference 4.08, Audio/Video and Media Player suport. These are not specified in the base version.
I could not find the specifications at the Narchive site.
