What's a "CS"?

Postby aln701 » Fri 03 Sep, 2004 4:29 am

I hope "General Computing" is where I should post this quick question ... I hope it has a quick answer.

Some time ago I began to see "CS" included in some application names in catalogs. Such as "Adobe InDesign CS/full new version". Obviously this is the full -not an upgrade- version of InDesign but what's the "CS"?

Other names I've seen:
Illustrator CS
Photoshop 8.0 /CS

I've seen others but these are the examples I had at my fingertips.
Any help? :?

CS = Creative Suite,

Just like "XP", a new way of numbering.

Thanks for the info ... Is a "Creative Suite" different from the regular version? Or is just Madison Ave advertising?

Could be, but that's illegal.
We don't discuss on how to crack or illegal activities in SD701.

Well, I can't afford Adobe Photoshop, so I bought the Photoshop Element instead.
