Just looking and wondering why people are downloading old
versions of Netscape.
I think in the older versions Netscape 4.5 was the best.

I used to use Navigator 4.08 on some of my older machines that weren't capable of running a more decent browser, though more recently I've switched those machines over to Debian with Dillo.

I got started with Netscape 4.5, when Netscape was accepted as an equal (or better) to IE.
My ISP tech support installed 4.5 when I got started. That was more than eight years ago.
But NS4.x is not capable of deciphering, accurately, modern web pages. And, sooner or later NS7.x won't, either. Why is anyone who does not have an old system insists in using browsers which will never be updated, is beyond my comprehension.
