Hi,
Why?
This is making the message centre work slower.
It has been alot slower today since you added this.

Productive Feedback

Postby goGecko » Wed 25 Aug, 2004 5:00 pm

Actually I think that the new feature is nice. It is really nice to see popular topics as suggestions when logging on to the main screen. I don't think that the scrolling is really needed and it does cause performance problems. However, I don't think that the active topics would stand out without some kind of effect/special font.

Hi,
I agree that it is nice.
However I am not happy with the time it takes to see the index page in the forums.

As I see it, the SD701 forums are no slower since the introduction of this new feature . . .

Wellander,

Please use a descriptive subject.

And to Wellander and Al.
Nice complain, but you'd better show me the timing.

Do you have any idea of how long the forums took to load on your system before this feature was added?

Hi,
Less then 1 second.
Edit: It is faster in I.E. and Opera.
Mozilla Based browsers seems to be having problems with this.

You guy's should quit complaning, I would love for SillyDog to load in six seconds, I'm still on dial up and it takes alot longer on here, sometimes upto and surpassing a minute.

Didn't make a bit of difference in my connection.
Same speed as always, in fact I just found out what you were
talking about :)

Very nice Antony,

I've not noticed any speed differences associated with this new feature, the forum still loads within a second or two.
