Why use mac

Postby Ron Williams » Fri 21 Jan, 2005 11:06 pm

I dont know if I just suddenly received enlightenment but I was sitting in my chair chatting online and then thought the following. If TIVO(DVR Service) can tell that many users played the superbowl clip 2-3 times over what would prevent them from infringing on my privacy more. At that point I dumped my TIVO box. With that said what would stop an even bigger company like microsoft from tracking what we do. Right now microsoft is all over my computer.
My microsoft Programs
Windows XP Home Edition
Office XP Pro 2002
Internet Exploder
Flight Simulator 2004
Windows Media Player
Plus! DME
Money 2004
Windows Media Player, and other preinstalled programs

With the rate that microsoft make updates I find myself just installing them and what would stop them from lieing(retorical question). I know I can find all the tools I need with a mac I really think I should change and use mac's as my primary PC. The nice thing about some of my software is that it works on both mac and windows.
