had sound it would stop all the sudden couldnt get back ubless i restarted computter now that doesnt work had a sata drive in an did the win repair on it an now it wont let me validate it it will go into the profile bring up the background after i hit the you need to validate but then it hangs an nothing comes up no explorer nothing cant get the task manager to open either lost on that one ran that repair more than once too the i put my ide boot as main drive had sound now no sound cant restart to get it either think mite be virus oor w/e but ran all kinds of scans an found nothing did have a trojan that keep repeating till i went into the firewall an blocked it deleted all the files i think but had problems every since then with my sound is there anyway of fixing this with out reformating i have to much to lose grrrrr ea i know should of backit up kicks self in booty asus M2N68-AM SE2 WIN XP HOME TY HAS ON BOARD SOUND REALTEK AN A CREATIVE SOUNDBLASTER CARD an yes i turned off the audio in the bios for the onboard didnt help thats how i had to get it to read card in first place when i installed it tried to take out card an use on board worked for a little while an quit now nothing works HELPPPPPPPP PLZZZZ lol rawwrrr
