windows 2000/2k error

while getting on a counterstrike server a little dialog box comes up that says an error log is being created and my whole system freezes up and i have to restart. i have a brand new gaming computer that i personally built that is very fast so its not a performance issue if you could help me out i would greatly appreciate it Dr.knowles
