Postby gungfusifu » Sat 28 Mar, 2009 11:24 pm

I am in my fourth quarter at ITT TECH and am studying W server 2003, since Im able to use boot camp to run either XP of Vista, does anyone here have any idea if I can run server 2003? just for the next 12 weeks anyway. also I just downloaded Fedora 10 linux, which Im putting on another section with boot camp..

any "advice's" are greatly appreciated.

Server 2003 is pretty similar to XP, so I'd assume it'll work with no problems. I don't know about Fedora, though.

No. OS X is based on Mach, which is thus based on FreeBSD. The *BSD's are descendents of the real Unices (UNIX).

All I am saying is that Linux is not supported so it may or may not work.

If not, you can always run Parallels Desktop for Mac. Windows Server 2003, Fedora Core are both supported guest OS.

I run Windows XP under Parallels Desktop for Mac, I did not bother to install Boot Camp.
