After 5 years, Xbox 360 is still the market leader (market share at least). If memory serves correctly, Xbox (original) did not have nice reviews nor success in fair speaking. Sony's PlayStation 2 was the market leader. Nintendo's Wii was not in the market yet. Then, Microsoft's Xbox 360 had the Red Ring of Death issue, still, the market leader.
