XP error loading operating system

Postby paul_mags » Mon 20 Sep, 2004 5:30 am

I have tried to install Windows XP and Linix on individual partitions but on completion I found that XP no longer worked but Linix worked fine. I then tried to re-install XP using the Microsoft install disk but I now get the following error message.
Error loading operating system.

This error occurs after the installation disc formats and copies files to hard drive and reboots.

How do I overcome this problem to complete installation. I have also tried formatting and deleting all partitions and reinstalling XP on the one partition. The same error occurs. :(
