Well I never did get my second hand laptop & I had to sell all my other computers (the laptops & the desktops) due to financial difficulties. I still have an old computer running Windows ME in my parents home in Slough, it's a craPackard Bell! I never use it now days & I have forgotten most of the specification for it as well, all I can remember is 128MB of RAM (I think) & 1GHz Pentium III Processor!

The main computer I use now is my room mates laptop form his work. It's a DELL of some sort, I have posted some of the specification for it below...

 3.06 GHz Pentium 4 Processor (support HT technology)
 512MB of ultra fast DDR-RAM
 nVidia GeForce FX5600 with 128MB of unshared RAM

 15" TFT Screen (SXGA+ 1400x1050)
 Built in 802.11 g Wireless & Bluetooth
 4 USB 2.0 Ports
 1 FireWire 400 port (mini FireWire)
 1 PS/2 Port
 1 Parallel Port (no Serial Port, though) :?

Updated, I no longer have the 500 mhz celeron. I went from that to a 1.3 ghz celeron then to a 1.14 ghz pentium with 512k cache but ram is still the same at 384 mb of ram. All of the other computers I have are the same as before.

It has been a while since the last time this topic was updated. I hope this is okay. Here's an update to what I currently use on my Toshiba A15 series PC laptop...

Windows 2000 Professional
Windows XP Professional
Windows 98 Second Edition
SUSE Linux 9.2 Pro
MandrakeLinux 9.2

That's right. All 5 of them are multi-bootable on my computer...not to mention I managed to get the two Linux distros dual-bootable. Pretty neat, huh?

Main Desktop PC:

Pentium IV 3.0GHz / 512MB Ram / 160GB HD
- Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Trial
- Debian GNU/Linux (Unstable and Experimental Branches)
- (on PearPC) MacOS X 10.2 "Jaguar"
- (on Virtual PC) QNX 6.2.1 (i think it's 6.2.1, not sure)

Laptop PC:

Pentium III 650Mhz or something (not quite sure, it was a christmas present), 256MB Ram, 20GB HD

- Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Trial
(I used to have FreeBSD 6.0-CURRENT here, but it had too much problems with the mousepad.)

My Server:

Celeron 2.0GHz, 256MB Ram, 20GB HD

- Debian GNU/Linux (Unstable and Experimental Branches)
(I once had OpenBSD in here, but eventually decided to put linux on it)

Laptop nº2:

AMD Duron 1.3GHz, 128MB Ram, no HD

- Well it has no hd anymore, so no operating system either... before the hd died it had Deli Linux.
- Its display is broken.
- I lost the charger for it
- Basicly, it's useless...

Since I haven't yet posted anything about my computers in this thread, I'm taking this time to do so.

PC 1 (Main PC)
HP Pavilion (Circa 2000)
533 MHz Pentium III
63 MB RAM
27 GB Hard Drive
Windows 98 SE

PC 2 (Non-working)*
HP Pavilion (Circa 1997)
Pentium MMX 166 MHz
32 MB RAM
2.5 GB Hard Drive
Windows 95 OSR2

PC 3(Non-Working)**
VTI Presonal Computer (Circa 198?-199?)
12 MHz
? RAM
? Hard Drive
MSDOS version ?

*"PC 2" boots, but cannot load operating system.

**I don't really know much about "PC 3" as it was given to my family by a relative, with little or no documentation included. Most of the specifications that are known were already available by logos on the front of the case.

They're not all mine, only three of them are really mine, and only two of them still work.
I used to have a Mac, an old CRT-based iMac, but it suffered extreme water damage and won't boot up anymore. Currently, a Powerbook doesn't fall into my budget.
