I know I bought Telstra Prepaid Wireless Broadband (USB stick) back in January 2009, it is about time for upgrade.
Presenting Telstra Elite Pre-Paid Mobile Wi-Fi:
Key features: Faster than previous Telstra Wireless Broadband, and does not require USB connection, also can connect up to 3 devices at a time.
Not that I would ever need one, my phone can do much the same thing, with either USB tethering or wireless hotspot functionality.

The device itself is pretty reasonable.

I have an unlocked Vodafone Pocket Wifi 2 (eugh, Vodafone, staying on 3 til the very end!) which supports 3G 850 for Telstra NextG, so what I've done is 'beat the system' and use a Telstra prepaid iPad SIM in the device. At the $20 level, I'm getting 1GB of data and 30 day expiry vs 225MB and, what, 21 day expiry on normal prepaid MBB. $30 gets me 3GB
It's not meant to be done, and if their systems catch you, you just get reverted to normal MBB pricing. I've seem to have beaten this though, by dropping the iPad SIM into my iPhone to recharge, and I've been doing it for a few months now, still getting the decent iPad rates.
Of course it would be easier to go Optus, but getting charged in 10MB blocks for the first 30MB/ day on prepaid is stupid, Vodafone is out of the picture cause it just doesn't work and 3 and its network will be gone in the next few months. Can't win :p
