 Netscape 7.0 is based on new open source engine (Gecko)
and fine-tune of Netscape 6. Netscape 7.0 is based on Mozilla 1.0.1 (7.01 is based on Mozilla 1.0.2), this version has been reported
very stable and fast. (NS 7.1 is based on Mozilla 1.4)

* Tabbed browsing, pop-up ads blocker (from 7.01), click-to-search, full screen mode, bookmark keywords, print preview, update notification, download manager
* Mail notification, mail labels, return receipts
* Save whole web pages, get map for address book
Support P3P (Privacy Preference Project), New corporate features in Netscape Mail including S/MIME, Shared folders for IMAP, Secure LDAP, and Offline LDAP.

Netscape 7.2 is developed from the Mozilla Application Suite 1.7.2 and as such shares much of the same basic technology. In addition to the technologies that Netscape 7.2 shares with Mozilla 1.7.2, it includes additional features such as a number of installed plugins, support for Windows Media Player Active X control which are not available in Mozilla.
