Which one should I download?

ver 6.0x:	(all in one) = One (big) complete download, with all the components including themes, you can choose which components to install. Suitable for archiving or redistribution.
	(installer) = Installer file, you will need to select and download other components in later time. Suitable for single installation.
ver 4.0x, 4.5+:	(Full) = Complete Install, with multimedia products (WinAmp, RealPlayer)	(Pro) = Professional Edition, with Calender etc extra products and plug-ins
	(Base) = Base Install, no extra multimedia products.	(Alone) = Navigator Stand-Alone Browser, browser only, no e-mail clients etc
ver 2, 3:	Gold: same as others, come with HTML page editor and page publishing function.
	(Std) = Standard version, no plug-ins	(Full) = Complete Install (was called Professional edition), with plug-ins
platform notes:	(1.2-ELF) = Linux 1.2 ELF	(PPC) = Mac PowerPC Complete Install

* Root certificate expired! All older Netscape browsers with version earlier than 4.06 have certificate that was expired on 31 December 1999. Go to Netscape's certificate info page for more details. You will continue to have secure connections and your credit card number and other personal information will remain as safe and secure as they were before. If you are using old versions, you can install a Current Root CA Certificate.
* Netscape 6 is a re-written product based on Netscape Gecko technology. Milestone 18 is the final point release named in Milestone xx series, Mozilla 0.6 will be used.
* UPDATE All 3.0+ international versions have standard 40-bit encryption (up to 4.51) or 56-bit encryption (4.6 to 4.71). From version 4.73 all netscape browsers are available in strong encryption (128-bit). 128-bit has been available for many (older) releases, due to the US Law, they could not be directly downloaded worldwide.
* Please note, currently the latest layout engine and e-mail client of Netscape 5(or 6) is called Gecko, released from Mozilla.org . Gecko is developer pre-release, and is the most up-to-date standards support internet browser.
